Bridge Timber maintained tyhete good form in the league with a good 3-1 victory against NKW.

The game was only 4 minutes old when a good Jordan Neary shot was tapped home by Ste Hickson but it cancelled out for being off side. Jamie Cumppers freekick in the 10th minute was well saved by ex Timber keeper Stu Kirby and the game became scrappy with both sides cancelling each other out until good team play between Lewis Watson, Andy Gott and Karl Thomas sent Ste Hickson down the line, his delicate cross was vollyed home by Jordan Neary at the back post to give Bridge a deserved lead.

Ste Coadys through ball to Andy Gott nearly brought another goal, Gotts shot narrowly going wide before on the hour,Jordan Nearys trickery resulted with his cross being shot goalbound by Peter Murphy, NKW defended well and when his shot was blocked, Ste Hickson headed back and after a Gott flick, Karl Thomas found the top corner with a great header for 2-0.

Andy Stringer showed his confidence claiming from a corner and then Ste Coadys neat flick then put Karl Thomas through 1 on 1, after Kirby was left on the floor Thomas side footed home to give Bridge a deserved 3 nil lead.

Mike CHesters and Thomas Whalley was both introduced with Hickson and Neary receiving knocks and done well before NKW pulled one baack in the 80th minute after a defencive lapse on a corner and in the final minutes two great last ditch tackles by Karl Jenkins and Peter Murphy kept NKW out to make the final score 3-1.Lee Evans was Timbers man of the match.
