Reos F.C. 3 Bridge Timber F.C. 3 Reos win 7-6 on penaltys after extra time Reos gained a great win against Bridge Timber after an epic contest at Leigh Rec.

Bridge Timber took a deserved lead in the 25th minute after Ste Hicksons acute pass found Ste Appleton 20 yards out, his first touch found him the angle and he delightfully curled the ball home to give the keeper no chance for 1-0.

Andy Stringer then made an outstanding save from a Marc Radleigh freekick before after great work from Jordan Neary, Karl Jenkins dangerous cross was cleared, Ste Appleton shooting goalwards was controlled on the turn by Ste Hickson and he rifled home right footed for 2-0.Bridge nearly had there 3rd after great teamwork involving Jamie Cumpper,Ste Appleton and Neary, Lewis Watson finishing the move with a good shot only to see it go past the post.

Reos got a penalty in the 57th minute, Marc Radleigh sending Stringer the wrong way to make it 2-1. In the 70th minute Bridge made it 3-1.

Mike Chesters swinging the ball in from the corner and Thomas Whally ghosted in at the back post to head home from close range.Jordan Neary nearly made it 4, after skillfully beating 2 defenders his excellent shot was tipped past the post before Reos retaliated with a 25 yard shot, Andy Stringer diving full stretch to keep Reos at bay with 5 minutes to go, Reo's got another goal back and with them getting back into the game, the leveller came in the 88th minute to send the game into extra time. Both teams cancelled each other out with no major chances so the game was decided by penaltys.

With the scores level after 5 each, it was to be decided by sudden death, Reo's goalkeeper scoring the winner to take them through to the semi's. Jordan Neary was Bridge Timbers man of the match with an outstanding display upfront, Wynne receiving it for Reo's.
