Altrincham band Dose release first single

AN ALTRINCHAM-based five-piece rock band are hoping to hit the big time by releasing their first single.
Leader of the band, which is called Dose, is 28-year-old guitarist Luiz Mareze who said: “We’ve sent our demo – called Bandwagon - off to as many outlets as possible, including recording companies and radio stations.”
He added with a grin: “It’s our first attempt to make the big time and jump on the bandwagon itself.”
Luiz, who works at Altrincham’s Market Tavern pub, and his four male pals regularly rehearse in the pub’s practice room.
They also perform occasionally for customers in the pub.
Landlord John Glover said: “The boys are real professionals and my customers and I are keeping our fingers crossed for them.”
He added: “If dedication counts for anything, then they really do deserve to hit the big time.”
