Children’s book and television favourite, Angelina Ballerina is heading for Manchester in her brand new ‘Mousical’, an all-singing, all-dancing musical theatre show set to delight her young fans.
We have teamed up with Palace Theatre Manchester to promote their competition to give one lucky reader the chance to win a family ticket (family of four, must include one child) to see Angelina Ballerina at 6.30pm on Friday 17th August, 2012 and will also receive some Angelina Ballerina goodies.
The show, suitable for the ages of three plus, transports audiences to Chipping Cheddar, as Angelina and friends discover that Camembert Academy has won the opportunity to appear in their favourite television programme 'Dancing With Mice!'
It feels like a dream come true - but when the girls and boys have very different ideas for the show and just can't seem to agree on anything, it's up to Angelina as Dance Captain to ensure that the show goes ahead.
Angelina always works hard to reach her goals and learns from her mistakes. As the young audiences share in Angelina’s experiences, they’re inspired to go after their big dreams too!
Boys and girls aged five to eight who have been learning ballet or contemporary dance from three local dance schools will be appearing alongside the cast in the grand finale of the show- entitled Ballet Girls & Hip Hop Boys! The dance schools participating are Flixton Academy of Performing Arts (Friday), Blackburn’s Dance Arts & Performing Arts Centre (Saturday) and the Rossendale Dance and Drama Centre (Sunday).
So put on those ballet shoes and join Angelina, Alice, Gracie, Viki, AJ and Marco for the most stupendous mousical of the year!
