HALTON Boxing Club will be represented in a national final tomorrow.
Rhea Kanu, 20, will be taking on Megan Bainbridge in the 52kg showdown in the senior national amateur championships taking place in Gateshead.
The Halton boxer has fought Bainbridge before, being beaten by her in final of the NABGC (national amateur boys and girls championships).
Kanu is seeded by England and as a result went straight through to the quarter finals, in which she got a bye to the semi finals.
She won in great fashion against a tough opponent from LCB (London Community Boxing Club).
Halton Boxing Club coach Tommy Cavanagh said "Rhea trains extremely hard alongside her big brother Reece who is a big part of her life.
"They inspire each other and push each other to the limit."
The final will be televised on BBC sport from noon, with Kanu's fight scheduled to be the fifth of the afternoon.
