ADAM Lawton scored a hat-trick for Vikings as they powered past Workington Town 70-18 in the Betfred Championship.

The fans turned out in their numbers, with an attendance of 3,623, despite the awful weather – with the first home game of the season being called ‘One for Walshy’ match day, to celebrate the life of former Viking Liam Walsh.
