WIDNES Vikings defeated Bradford Bulls 25-12 at Odsal on Sunday to make it two wins in a row.

Vikings opened the scoring on seven minutes when Lewis Else went in from dummy half.

They extended their lead when Deon Cross finished off an Adam Lawton break for Vikings' second.

Bulls hit back on the half hour mark, when prop Anthony Walker crashed over from close range.

However Vikings had the last word in the half when Matty Smith's kick was collected by Jayden Hatton in the corner.

Ste Tyrer's touchline conversion and a Smith drop goal gave Widnes a 13-point lead at the break.

Bulls' Ebon Scurr hit back early in the second half but five minutes later the prolific Lawton carried on his scoring run.

Some tough Vikings defence repelled the Bulls to secure back-to-back victories.
