YOU would probably need a few looks at this picture to work out what's going on.
The ground is The Willows, the former home of Salford City Reds.
But the scoreboard says Wigan are ahead against St Helens.
And yet the match being played is Salford versus Warrington Wolves on September 14, 2007.
Confused? Understandably so.
The photographer, Mike Boden, must have caught the action just as a score from a rival Super League game down the road was flashed up so that fans inside The Willows were up to date with proceedings elsewhere.
So the scoreboard operator wasn't drunk and getting his teams mixed up, Wigan did happen to beat Saints 20-12 that same night and secure for themselves a place in the play-offs.
They say a picture can tell a thousand words, but this one can get the story wrong too!
Incidentally, The Wire won this clash, their final game of the season, 34-26.
And it was the last game in primrose and blue for Brent Grose, Chris Leikvoll and Henry Fa'afili.
