TWO former Warrington Wolves players squared up in today's NRL All Stars match.

Bryson Goodwin lined up on the wing for a New Zealand Maori All Stars side coached by former Wire back-rower David Kidwell, while Tyrone Roberts was at scrum half for the Indigenous All Stars at Queensland's Cbus Super Stadium.

Goodwin would have finished the game the happier of the two, his side running out 30-16 victors.

Roberts kicked a goal for the Indigenous All Stars.

For Goodwin, it was his first official appearance since leaving The Wire last season for one last shot with his former club South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Predominantly a left centre for Warrington, he scored 26 tries, 43 goals and 190 points in 61 appearances over two successful seasons with the club, which included a Challenge Cup Final win against St Helens.

Roberts had a relatively quiet year with The Wire as a marquee signing in 2018 before returning to former NRL club Gold Coast Titans.
