1. We have to start the reflection on the weekend with full back Lachlan Coote's display in Saints' win at Huddersfield.

Six games into the Super League campaign we can finally stop making comparisons with his predecessor.

Coote's vision, execution and ability to create things for the team make him a valuable team asset.

Nothing summed that up more perfectly than a key passage of play on 53 minutes when his early kick from dummy half held up inches from the dead ball line. Coote led the chase, getting enough on Jermain McGillvary to check his progress and allowing Mark Percival to cash in on the spilled ball to touch down.

Eight minutes later and Coote's long, looping pas sent Regan Grace spinning to the line.

2. That try from Regan Grace showed the value of setting up attacking plays from the scrum.

With the forwards out of the way, all it took was some crisp, clean hands and smart use of dummy runners to create the opportunity for the Welsh wing.

It still took some scoring, but Grace spun out of the tackle well to touch down.

3. Also getting in on the try scoring act for the second week running was unsung second row man Dom Peyroux after collecting the tap back from Tommy Makinson from Theo Fages' fine attacking kick.

It was a reward for Peyroux's 80 minutes of aggressive and elusive running and industrious workrate in defence. Definitely one of the second row man's best games in a Saints shirt.

4. For the third week out of four Saints managed to keep the opposition scoreless in the second half.

There were things again that Saints needed to sort out for the second half, controlling the ball better and tighter at the ruck. And that paid dividends as they slowly but surely tightened their grip on the game.

In the end a 40-12 was the reward, but it felt like a much tougher contest.

5. It was nice to see Danny Richardson back up his positive words with another fine game on dual reg with Leigh.

The way Coote, Lomax and Fages are playing there is no room in the unbeaten Saints first team at the moment - but it is positive to see the attitude the Dream Team scrum half is playing.

It also does mean he is ready to slot in should injury or loss of form strike.

6. It was not a surprise to see the Warrington v Wigan game boil over, as per the Bad Blood billing. There will inevitably be a couple up before the disciplinary this week but at least Wire will have will have more footage for their next ad campaign.
