SAINTS under 19s fought back from a half time deficit to see off Huddersfield Giants 36-28 victory.

Two tries in the opening five minutes minutes from Josh Simm and Tom Nisbett gave Saints a great start.

But Giants responded crossing with two tries of their own to level things up at 10-10.

Lewis Dodd ghosted through the defensive line after a scrum to score in the right corner to push Saints back ahead.

But the tit-for-tat continued with Giants crossing twice before the break to take a 22-16 lead

Saints started the second half strongly and after a series of back-to-back sets Matty Foster crashed over to the left of the posts.

With Saints' kicking game producing the goods, Saints dominated possession for the next 10 minutes and wore the Giants down.

Ryan Horne darted over at dummy half to put Saints back in front, with Josh Simm adding a penalty.

Although Giants replied Saints wrapped it up when Nico Rizzelli went in at the corner.
