STOCKPORT County have confirmed that they have recalled forward Jake Kirby from his loan spell at Warrington Town.

Yellows last week announced that a deal had been reached for Kirby to remain at Cantilever Park until December 29.

However, County have now confirmed that the 24-year-old has returned to Edgeley Park and is available for their trip to Spennymoor tomorrow.

The news comes as a blow to Town boss Paul Carden, for whom Kirby has scored twice in his past three games.

One of those goals came in Saturday's 4-0 win over North Ferriby United – a game in which he also won a penalty.
