RUNCORN trampolinist Scarlett Fletcher made history by retaining her World Champion title for the second consecutive year out in St Petersburg, Russia, something that has never been done before,
The 12-year-old, who trains at City of Liverpool Trampoline Gymnastics Academy, Speke, remains a double mini world age games 11-12 DMT Champion.
But that is not the the end of the honours, while she was out in Russia, the Halton Annual Sports awards took place.
And for the second year running Scarlett was awarded Halton Young Sports Person of the Year .
The Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy pupil now has her sights firmly on the 2019 World age games which will be held in Tokyo.
