WIDNES Vikings' 2019 Betfred Championship fixtures have been announced, and they open their campaign against Halifax on Sunday 3 February at the Halton Stadium, hoping to replicate the club's victory in the 2018 Qualifiers campaign.

The Vikings' first away game of the new season will be in France against Toulouse Olympique on 9 March, whilst the trip to Toronto to face the Toronto Wolfpack has been diverted to Newcastle for a double header at Kingston Park.

Coach Kieron Purtill will come up against his old side, Leigh Centurions in April and August, with the two sides clashing once more when closing the 2019 Summer Bash at Bloomfield Road in Blackpool on Sunday 19 May.
