RUNCORN gymnast Scarlett Fletcher continues to go from strength to strength as she excels once again in her field of trampoline.

The 12-year-old has recently returned from the Loule Cup in Portugal where she represented Great Britain - and came home with two medals.

The Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy pupil won team gold in the age 13/14 category and Individual DMT silver.

She followed that up by achieving gold at the English Championships at the weekend, getting a competition personal best in the preliminary round.

In double mini trampoline she is World champion, British champion and English champion, in individual trampoline she achieved gold in the synchronised trampoline (British champions) and silver in individual trampoline - so walked away from the championships with three medals.

It has not gone unrecognised and she is currently Halton's Young Sports Person of the Year.

Scarlett, who trains at City of Liverpool Trampoline Gymnastics Academy, Speke, has been selected to represent Great Britain again in the World Championships next month which will be held in St Petersburg, Russia on the 12-19 November and will be spending the next two weekends at the Lilleshall GB training camp in preparation.
