A CHAPELFORD mum-of-two is aiming to reach new heights with the official launch of her new marketing agency.

Claire Briars launched Claire Sky Marketing with life-long work colleague and best friend, Steve Kirkbride in January.

The pair agreed to put their 35 years of combined experience at BT and Tesco, among others, to help businesses in the area.

Claire Sky Marketing has pledged its support for several community initiatives, but it is the announcement of St Rocco’s Hospice as the company’s nominated charity that is closest to Claire’s heart.

Last year, aged only 45, Claire’s best friend Helen White sadly died from ovarian cancer, leaving behind a husband and two children.

The support provided by St Rocco’s both before and after Helen’s death inspired Claire to help the charity raise much-needed funds.

With a dedicated charity page on her new website, and several events planned in 2019 including a team fun run at the Manchester 10k in May, Claire is confident of raising a significant amount of money.

Claire said: “ I am so excited and proud to officially launch Claire Sky Marketing.

"St Rocco’s Hospice is very close to my heart and the team are thrilled to support them.

"I miss Helen every day and I’m proud that we can support this fantastic charity in her beloved memory.”
