YOUNGSTERS have been getting a kick out of summer by mastering new sporting skills.
Football experts, Active Soccer, provided a week long soccer school as part of Halton Council’s summer blitz programme.
FA qualified coaches taught 30 young people new skills, team work, and how to play in a different way, at Brookvale Recreation Centre.
Ten-year-old schoolgirls, Mary Byrne, from Palacefields, Runcorn, a pupil at Our Lady’s Primary School, and Olivia Turner, from Norton, Runcorn, who attends St Berteline’s School in Windmill Hill, joined the squad.
