A NEW nursery is set to open soon, bringing fresh early years opportunities to the area.
Kids Planet Sandymoor will welcome its first children on September 1, offering 128 places and creating 44 new jobs in Runcorn.
Emma Duffy, area manager at Kids Planet, said: "We’re excited to be opening a fantastic, brand-new nursery in Sandymoor and can’t wait to welcome our first cohort of children in September.
"Sandymoor is a brilliant location for local families, offering high-quality childcare close to home and offering plenty of amenities for the children to get out and explore.
"We’re creating a team of skilled practitioners, chefs, room leaders, and apprentices that share our passion for helping children thrive.
"From this, we hope the nursery becomes somewhere families feel truly valued and proud to be a part of as we support their children through these important years in their development."
Located on Otterburn Street, the purpose-built nursery is designed to support the development and well-being of young children with spacious rooms, inspiring learning resources, and expansive outdoor play areas.
An official launch event will take place on September 5, inviting families to tour the new setting.
Kids Planet already operates a setting on Langdale Road.
The nursery offers an all-inclusive experience with Kit & Kin nappies, chef-prepared meals, SEND support, and a nature-based curriculum known as Udeskole.
Families can also benefit from 30 hours of funded childcare for children aged nine months to four years, if eligible.
Kids Planet, one of the UK’s largest nursery groups, operates more than 300 sites.
