A BIN has been torched in a suspected arson attack in Ditton.

Firefighters were called to Lodge Road, behind the shops on Queens Avenue, shortly before 4pm on Friday.

A bin had caught fire.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “It is suspected to have been deliberate.”

One fire engine from Widnes dealt with the incident.
