A FIRE which closed a road in Widnes was caused by the reflection of sunlight.
Emergency services were first called to the incident on Milton Avenue at around 3.25pm yesterday, Tuesday.
The fire involved a shed, trees, and a fence.
Three fire engines attended, and crews used two hose reels to extinguish the blaze.
They also checked the roof space and eaves of a nearby property for fire spread.
Police also attended the scene and closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
Following an investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue said it was most likely caused by the reflection of sunlight.
