A SAFARI park is inviting visitors to celebrate Mother’s Day by meeting its animal mums and babies.
Knowsley Safari is offering one free adult entry per car on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, promising a fun-filled weekend for families and a chance to see a range of animals.
The promotion brings a saving for families while giving guests the opportunity to explore the park’s five-mile safari drive, home to new arrivals including forest buffalo and roan antelope calves, as well as a three-month-old southern white rhino calf named Kamari.

Kamari, already full of energy and confidence, can be spotted in the yard with mum, Bayami.
Helena Berry, head of marketing and sales at Knowsley Safari, said: "This weekend celebration of mums promises to be packed with adventure and memory making moments – with the added bonus of one adult coming in completely free."
The safari drive is also home to Knowsley’s baboon troop, where visitors can spot baby baboons clinging to their mothers.

For those who prefer to view from a distance, a Car Safe Route is available, or guests can book the Baboon Bus for a closer look without risking their own vehicles.
On the Foot Safari’s Tiger Trail, visitors can see Amur tiger mum Yuki with her two seven-month-old cubs, Akira and Ozo.
The cubs are now confident in their environment and are often seen playing near the park’s large viewing windows.

Children visiting the park can get creative by making a special seeded Mother’s Day card to take home and plant.
In addition to the new arrivals, guests can explore the rest of the safari’s residents including Andean bears, giraffes, African lions, camels, capybara and meerkats.
Daily shows and talks are also available, including the popular Birds of Prey demonstration.
