A walk of stars will be installed in Liverpool city centre this month.
Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE have announced the installation, which will feature more than 70 stars, each bearing the name of an artist performing at Radio 1's Big Weekend.
The walk of stars will be present from May 2 to May 26.
The stars will be placed on the street leading from Liverpool ONE to Royal Albert Dock.
This will give music fans the opportunity to take selfies with the star of their favourite artist.
The stars will range from lesser-known artists on the Introducing Stage to the main stage performers.
During the three days of Radio 1's Big Weekend, visitors can showcase their talent at either end of the walk of stars.
Award-winning radio personality Leanne Campbell will host entertainment from 1pm to 5pm.
The dock’s Time to Shine podiums will return from May 23 to May 25 in front of the Martin Luther King Junior building, providing a stage for visitors to sing along to their favourite songs.
Last year, these podiums attracted Sam Ryder, who delighted fans with a surprise performance during the Eurovision Song Contest.
