A SUSPECT has been named by police after being charged with committing a spree of thefts from bowling alleys.
Detectives from Cheshire Police have been investigating a series of thefts reported at bowling alleys in Warrington, Widnes and St Helens.
As a result of enquiries, they have confirmed that they have now charged a man in relation to the incidents.
Damian Rigby, of Lancaster Road in Hindley, Wigan, has been charged with four counts of theft and four counts of criminal damage.
The charges relate to a series of incidents at Superbowl venues in Warrington, Widnes and St Helens, which occurred between April 30 and August 25 this year.
The 38-year-old has been remanded in custody and is set to appear before Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday.
Warrington’s Superbowl is located in Golden Square Shopping Centre, with the Widnes bowling alley at The Hive Leisure Park, and the St Helens venue off Linkway West.
