A DRIVER was rescued from a car crash in Widnes in the early hours of this morning, Sunday.
Two fire engines were called to reports of a crash on Millfield Road shortly before 2.30am today.
The collision involved one vehicle.

Crews stabilised the car before helping the occupier out of the vehicle and into the care of paramedics.
Fire engines from Widnes and Penketh dealt with the incident.
