RESIDENTS in Widnes have been hit by power shortages this morning.
Those living in the WA8 postcode area have been hit with electricity blackouts.
The issue was first reported at around 944am this morning, Wednesday.
Scottish Power, who cover large areas of Halton, estimate electricity will be restored by approximately 2pm this afternoon.
The postcodes affected are as follows : WA80HS, WA80JA, WA80LL, WA80XL, WA83HB, WA83HD, WA83HL, WA83HX, WA83HY, WA83HZ, WA83JA, WA83JB, WA83JD, WA83JE, WA83JF, WA83JX, WA83LH, WA83LJ, WA83LL, WA83LN, WA83LP, WA83LR, WA83LS, WA83LU, WA83LW, WA83LY, WA83NB
