A 35-year-old man was found dead at his home in Widnes by Cheshire Fire, an inquest heard.
Cheshire Coroners’ Court formally opened an inquest into the death of Joshua McGregor on Wednesday.
The court heard that the 35-year-old was found dead at his home in Widnes after Cheshire Fire gained entry to the property on July 1.
The police also attended and confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances concerning his death.
Senior Coroner for Cheshire, Jacqueline Devonish, formally opened an inquest into Mr McGregor’s death due to the fact that his death has been deemed ‘unnatural’.
The full inquest will be heard on January 29.
