POLICE are appealing for help from residents in a bid to locate a missing teenage girl from Runcorn.

Cheshire Police has issued an appeal for people to keep an eye out for Katie Parkes, who has been reported missing from home.

The 14-year-old has been missing since Wednesday, August 14, and she is believed to be in the Runcorn area.

Katie is described as being white, approximately 4' 9" tall, of a slim build and with long dark brown hair.

Inspector Steve Bradshaw said: "It has been days since Katie was last seen, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

"As well as Runcorn, Katie is known to have links to the Merseyside and Birmingham areas.

"I would urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Katie since she went missing, or knows where she is, to get in touch.

"The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of her since she disappeared.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Katie, to ask her to get in touch.”
