A WOODEN jetty was found to be in flames near to a canal in Moore.
Firefighters were called to reports of the jetty on fire on Moore Lane close to the Manchester Ship Canal at around 6.54pm yesterday evening, Friday.
One fire engine from Runcorn was dispatched to the scene.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire Service said: "Firefighters used one hose reel to put out a fire involving a wooden jetty near a canal in Moore, Warrington."
