THREE fire engines rushed to the scene of a kitchen fire at a home in Widnes.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the kitchen of a property in Cypress Avenue at around 9.44pm yesterday evening, Friday.
Three fire crews from Widnes, Warrington and Mersyside Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
One individual was handed over to the care of attending paramedics.
