THE rider of a motorbike was involved in a collision at a roundabout junction in Widnes.
The incident occurred at around 2pm on Saturday, with a number of police officers and paramedics reported at the scene.
Emergency services attended the scene on Hough Green Road, close to The Four Topped Oak pub, where the motorcyclist was treated.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At around 2pm on Saturday, July 6, police received a report of a road traffic collision on Hough Green Road in Widnes.
“Officers attended and located the rider of a motorbike who had come off his bike on the roundabout.
“An ambulance was called, and the man was treated at the scene for pain to his leg and shoulder.
“No other vehicles were believed to be involved. The scene was released at 3.22pm.”
