Delays on M62 Eastbound in Widnes (Image: National Highways)
THERE is congestion on the M62 in Widnes due to an obstruction on the road.
Delays are being experienced along the Eastbound side of the motorway following the incident which took place between junction 6 M57 J1 (Tarbock Island) to junction 7 A57 Warrington Road (Rainhill Stoops).
National Highways has confirmed delays of up to 10 minutes are to be expected currently.
Traffic conditions are set to return to normal by around 8am.
