FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in the garden of a home where furniture was being torched.
Fire crews were called to the incident on Bristol Avenue in Runcorn at around 2.06pm yesterday, Wednesday.
On arrival they found the occupants of the house were burning furniture in the garden, however the level of smoke coming from the flames had began to affect neighbouring properties.
Firefighters from Runcorn Fire Station used a horse reel jet to extinguish the flames.
