FIREFIGHTERS attended a blaze at a business in Widnes after a piece of machinery caught fire.
Two fire crews were dispatched from Widnes and Runcorn to the scene on Desoto Road at around 6.14am this morning, Wednesday.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters entered the commercial building and used a horse reel jet to extinguish the flames located on an item of machinery.
Once the fire was out, crews continued to monitor the affected area with a thermal imaging camera until temperatures had reached a normal level.
