GET your garden ready for summer as a plant fair returns to Runcorn.

Plant Hunters' Fairs returns to Norton Priory next Sunday, May 19 for their eagerly awaited plant fair.

Martin Blow, from Plant Hunters Fairs, said: “Our plant fairs at Norton Priory are always popular with plant lovers. It’s such a friendly atmosphere and the nurseries are excited to be returning.

"There will be a brilliant line-up of the best independent plant nurseries from near and far attending with plants to delight all garden lovers. The plants are lovingly grown by specialist nurseries who will bring a great range of perennials, shrubs, alpines, clematis, wildflowers, herbs all for a wide range of garden situations. These enthusiastic plants people are on hand to give straightforward advice on choosing and growing the right plants for your garden.

"The plant fair is just £1 to enter with the entry fee going to the Norton Priory Charitable Trust that runs the venue and is the perfect place to get some exciting new plants without having to break the bank."

If you would also like to visit the Walled Garden and museum there is a separate entry charge and special early bird offer tickets to include all attractions now available when booked online in advance.

If you would just like to visit the plant fair, then it is just £1 to enter which can be paid on the gate – no need to purchase a ticket.

The plant fair is held outdoors next to the Norton Priory Georgian Walled Garden with free parking at the Museum Visitor Centre. Dogs on leads are welcome in the plant fair. Refreshments are available.

The plant fair runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 19th May.
