CREWS tackled a building fire in Widnes yesterday, Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the incident on Victoria Road at around 8.25am following reports of smoke coming from a building.
On arrival, crews found multiple seats on fire on the ground floor of the property.
Wearing breathing apparatus, four firefighters tackled the blaze using hose reels jets.
Police attended and closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
In total, four fire engines attended the scene including ones from Widnes, Runcorn, Penketh, and Warrington.
