Unattended bonfire spreads to fence at the back of house in Runcorn
AN unattended bonfire spread to a fence in Runcorn.
Fire crews were called to the incident on Newlyn Close in Brookvale at around 3.10pm this afternoon, Monday.
Firefighters attended and found a bonfire to the rear of a home had been left unattended.
It had spread to a fence.
The crew used their water backpacks and bowsers to dampen down the flames.
One fire engine from Runcorn attended.
