A SUSPECTED drug dealer was found hiding in a loft.
Cheshire Police have detained a man who is alleged to have been dealing Class A drugs.
The suspect had failed to appear in court, prompting police to conduct a search of an address in Widnes, where he was found hiding in the loft.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Special Constabulary said: “Today S/Insp Booth & SC(s) Groarke, Davidson and Warren have been on duty with our colleagues from the Citizens in Policing Team, Sgt Hynds and PC Jackson.
“We attended an address in Widnes to conduct arrest attempts for a nominal wanted for failure to appear for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
“Officers forced entry into the address to find the wanted male hiding inside the loft area, hiding from police.
“He was swiftly detained and transported to custody where he shall remain and put forward at the next available court!”
Cheshire Police have been contacted for further details.
