A PERSON has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a crash in Runcorn.
The incident happened yesterday on Windmill Hill Avenue North and resulted in the road being closed for more than five hours.
The closure was to allow for a collision investigation to take place. It reopened at 8.20pm.
A huge emergency service presence was at the scene, including fire, police, paramedics, and an air ambulance.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. One casualty was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, a Cheshire Police spokesperson has confirmed.
