POLICE have closed a road in Runcorn following a crash that saw an air ambulance called.
The incident happened on Windmill Hill Avenue North at around 3pm this afternoon, Tuesday.
The road is currently closed in both directions between Windmill Hill Roundabout and Manor Park Avenue, the roundabout for Daresbury Expressway.
The crash involved two cars and has resulted in police, ambulance, and fire crews attending as well as an air ambulance.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
