FIREFIGHTERS were called after a van was set on fire "deliberately".
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was called out to Widnes last night (March 9) following reports of a van fire.
One fire engine, from the Widnes station, arrived at Ashley Way West shortly after 9pm.
Upon arrival, crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
The fire service says the fire was "believed to have been started deliberately".
Cheshire Police have been contacted for further information.
