A MAJOR road is blocked both ways in Widnes following a crash.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Lunts Heath Road at around 2.20pm this afternoon, Tuesday.
The incident was found to involve two vehicles, a Land Rover and a BMW.
As well as police officers, an ambulance crew also attended.
There are not believed to be any reports of serious injuries, a spokesperson for Cheshire Police said.
The road remains blocked between Grosvenor Road and Finsbury Park.
