POLICE and fire crews attended a car blaze in Widnes this morning, Monday.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Ditton Road at around 5am.
They found a vehicle to be on fire on the side of the road.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
One fire engine from Widnes attended.
Police officers also attended the scene to investigate.
