POLICE have launched a CCTV appeal after a woman was punched, kicked and had her hair pulled out in an attack on a train.

British Transport Police is looking to speak to those pictured over the assault in Runcorn, releasing camera stills three months on from the incident.

The assault took place on Saturday, November 4, on the 8.30pm train from Liverpool Lime Street heading for Crewe.

She was punched and kicked to the floor, and her hair was pulled hair from her scalp.
