THERE were long delays on the M56 this afternoon after a car overturned.
The incident happened between junction 11 for Daresbury and 12 for Runcorn.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said three vehicles were involved in the collision at around 3.50pm.
A spokesman said: "One of the vehicles has overturned onto its roof. One lane is reportedly closed while the incident is dealt with. Fire crews administered first aid to one casualty. Firefighters are making the vehicles safe."
Firefighters are dealing with a fuel leak from one of the vehicles. A second casualty has received first aid from crews.
