A MAN was found dead at his friend’s home in Runcorn, a coroner’s court heard.
Police officers were called to a property on Blantyre Street at 12.05pm on November 3 last year after reports of a sudden death.
Fifty-four-year-old Mark Osborne, from Victoria Road in Widnes, was found dead at the home having gone to visit a friend at the time of the tragic incident.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: “At 12.05pm on Friday 3 November 2023 police were called to reports of a sudden death on Blantyre Street, Runcorn.
“The death was not suspicious, and a case file was prepared for the coroner.”
Senior coroner of Cheshire Jacqueline Devonish opened an inquest into the death of Mr Osborne on Wednesday.
A case review is scheduled for March 17 followed by an inquest which will be heard at Cheshire Coroners Court on April 29.
