THE new year brings with it a fresh calendar packed full of fun events, shows and experiences that you will not want to miss out on in 2024.

Disney will make its magical return to the ice this year, with both timeless characters and more recent faces getting their skates on for an unforgettable show.

The enchanting world of Disney On Ice presents Dream Big will come to the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool for a select few dates - from March 21 to 24.

The show brings to life the magic of Disney’s tales through world-class figure skating, transporting audiences to exciting worlds where heroes seek to fulfill their dreams.

Disney On Ice star Sean-Isaac Parry, who has been skating since he was 10 years old, shares that it is a ‘dream come true’ to live out his ‘childhood favourite films on ice and inspire other children’.

A team of choreographers and set and costume designers create approximately 181 props and 250 different costumes, which is all transported in 17 trucks from city to city, taking approximately 10 hours to set up. 

Disney lovers will be joined by some of their favourite characters including Moana and the greatest demigod that ever lived, Maui, on an action-packed voyage to restore the stolen heart of Te Fiti.

The Liverpool arena will be transformed into the land of the dead as Miguel from Disney Pixar’s Coco brings the festivities of Día de los Muertos to the ice.

Audiences will also be joined by Rapunzel in her hair-raising quest to see the floating lights and can look forward to travelling to the kingdom of Arendelle with Anna, Elsa and Olaf in a dramatic retelling of the sisterly love that saved a kingdom.

Lastly timeless characters including Jasmine, Ariel, Aurora, Belle and Cinderella will pay a visit to the ice.
