A DARESBURY firm welcomed more than 900 local school children for a day of festive fun.

Trust Alliance Group, based at Daresbury Park, opened the doors to its head office to host three days of Christmas activities for children.

School pupils from Windmill Hill, The Brow, Castleview, Gorsewood, Brookvale, Murdishaw West, and St Martins got the chance to participate in Christmas crafts, face painting, Christmas films, and a visit to Santa’s grotto.

Simon Thornton, senior leader for Legitimacy at Trust Alliance Group, said: “Bringing joy to so many children is incredibly rewarding, particularly when a lot of families are struggling this Christmas.”

Runcorn and Widnes World:

“These school visits are a firm fixture in our annual calendar and colleagues really look forward to welcoming the children each year.”

Staff gave up their time to help during the three days, wearing festive fancy dress to make it a memorable experience for all that attended.

Claire Gibson, nursery teacher at Brookvale Primary School, said: “We can’t thank the staff at Trust Alliance Group enough.

“The children have had a fabulous time and it’s something they’ll remember for a while.”
