A RUNCORN school won a Cheshire-wide countryside held at one of the county's most well-known venues.
The Brow CP School was named winner of the Arley Hall Christmas tree competition which saw entries from schools across Cheshire.
And Lord and Lady Ashbrook were on hand to announce the win.
This was the first time The Brow had entered the competition and were the first Halton winners.
Children and staff designed and created lots of different decorations choosing the theme of World Peace.
A group of staff and children visited Arley Hall last week to decorate their tree ready for the competition.
A spokesman said: "Children and staff are delighted to win and enjoyed taking part in this project."
