A TOP boss will be leaving Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Kimberley Salmon-Jamieson, who qualified as a nurse in 1994, started at the trust seven years ago.
And since, she has been ‘instrumental’ in helping it to achieve ‘so much’, says chief executive Simon Constable.
But after a ‘tough decision’, the chief nurse and deputy chief executive will be joining Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
Confirming the news, Mr Constable said: “After seven years at the Trust, where Kimberley has been instrumental in helping us achieve so much, she will sadly be leaving Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals at the end of March 2024.
“She will be joining Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as their executive group chief Nurse.
“I know that this has been an incredibly tough decision for Kimberley, as she remains so very dedicated to the Trust and passionate about her work here.
“However, this is a fantastic opportunity for her and so, of course, I would like to wish her all the very best for her next career step.”
