"FLY-TIPPED" items have been set on fire.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in Widnes on Saturday evening (November 19).
One crew, from the Widnes Fire Station, arrived at Arley Drive at around 6.43pm to find a fire involving couches and kitchen appliances.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
CFRS has said the incident has been reported to Cheshire Police as it is "believed the items on fire had been fly-tipped".
Police have been contacted for further information.
